Fixing problem with GeForce Now VPN

No matter which VPN you use, you might experience some technical difficulties. We’ve compiled a list of the most common issues and ways to fix them:

1. New IP Address Is Not Working

This is a common problem with many Solutions. To start, open your VPN settings and check if the Leak Protection features are enabled. 

Next, you should close all unneeded background apps. One of them might be revealing your actual location, making your VPN useless.

2. VPN for GeForce Now has Terrible Speed

First, restart your VPN to see if that helps. Next, try switching to different VPN servers until you find one with the most optimized connection. Your VPN protocol might also be the problem, so try using another one.

3. Can’t Connect to a VPN Server

In this scenario, your firewall is likely blocking your VPN connection. You can quickly test this by making an exception for your VPN.

Here is how to do this on your Windows.

1. Visit Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall.
   
2. Click on Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall, which is located in the left corner.
   
3. Go to Change Settings and locate your VPN app in the list below.
   
   If you can't locate it, go to Allow another app to manually create an exception. Once you find your VPN app, just click Add.
   
4. Confirm all changes by clicking on OK.

4. Multiple Security Concerns

A recent analysis done on over 270 free Android VPNs showed the various security issues they pose to regular users:
