Proton has launched its Black Friday 2026 sale, offering discounts across Proton VPN, Mail, Drive, Pass, and its Proton Unlimited subscription bundle.
The offers include 75% off a two-year VPN Plus subscription, 60% off annual Mail Plus, Drive Plus, and Pass Plus plans, and 50% off a year of Proton Unlimited.
The discounts cover individual services for users who need a specific privacy tool, as well as a bundle that combines encrypted email, cloud storage, password management, and VPN access.
Proton is a Switzerland-based privacy technology provider that offers alternatives to mainstream email (Proton Mail), storage (Proton Drive), and account security (Proton Pass), as well as a VPN (Proton VPN). Its apps are open source, allowing outside researchers to inspect their code.
Proton’s Black Friday offers
This year’s Black Friday deals focus on Proton’s Plus plans, which are paid subscriptions that add features or higher usage limits to its free services.
The five deals apply to the following subscriptions (click the link to get the deal):
- Proton VPN Plus: 75% off the 24-month plan >
- Proton Mail Plus: 60% off the 12-month plan >
- Proton Drive Plus: 60% off the 12-month plan >
- Proton Pass Plus: 60% off the 12-month plan >
- Proton Unlimited: 50% off the 12-month plan >
Proton VPN Plus carries the largest percentage discount, with a two-year commitment. The paid service supports up to 10 simultaneous device connections and includes NetShield filtering to block ads, trackers, and malicious domains. A VPN encrypts traffic between a device and the VPN server and replaces the user’s public IP address with the server’s.
Proton Mail Plus adds storage and email management features to Proton’s free email offering. The plan includes 15 GB of storage and support for a custom email domain, making it an option for users who want to use their own domain with Proton’s inbox.
Proton Drive Plus provides 200 GB of cloud storage for files, photos, and documents. Drive uses end-to-end encryption to protect file contents, so Proton cannot read the stored files. The service also supports file sharing and online editing of documents and spreadsheets.
Proton Pass Plus expands the company’s password manager with unlimited hide-my-email aliases, an integrated two-factor authentication code generator, secure vault sharing, and dark web monitoring. Email aliases let users sign up for services without revealing their main email address.
Proton Unlimited bundles all services
The annual Proton Unlimited offer combines premium access to VPN, Mail, Drive, Pass, and Calendar under one subscription, with 500 GB of storage. Its 50% discount gives readers considering several Proton products another option to compare against buying individual subscriptions.
The choice depends on which services and storage allowances a subscriber needs. A standalone plan may cover a single need, while Unlimited combines the products and offers higher account limits.
Before purchasing, readers should check the total upfront charge, renewal price, and eligibility shown on the offer page, particularly when upgrading an existing subscription. Proton advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but buyers should also review the applicable refund terms when ordering.
